Why ESG?

Environmental, Social, Governance and Sustainability has been part of the PomeGran DNA for many years. Our broadband services are considered an essential service. However, supporting communities in other very important ways also has a major impact on their lives and livelihood.

ESG Projects

  • Summerfest Sponsor – CochraneTel has proudly sponsored Summerfest for the last ten years. An event which attracts and supports community members and visitors alike.

  • Lee Golf Club – CochraneTel has sponsored a number of events, and tournaments within the community held at this key club.

  • Tim Horton Events Centre – CochraneTel donated equipment to the media room as the Events Centre and provides free internet services for all visitors.

  • Lady Minto Hospital, Chemo Room – CochraneTel provides free television services.

  • Community Channel – Cochrane’s very own community channel is provided at the following locations: Cochrane Public Library, Bourque’s Auto, Cochrane Travel Centre.

  • Hot Spots – CochraneTel provides free wi-fi at the Tim Horton Events Centre, the peninsula and downtown core to support all those in need of communications and during events.

CochraneTel is an environmentally responsible company.

  • Partnered with Quantum Lifecycle Partners and recycles old equipment and diverting waste from the local landfill site.
