NIVO Grows: Every Connection Can Help Grow Our Legacy

NIVO is launching NIVO Grows, a new initiative that gives qualifying NIVO Fibre customers and NIVO, inspired by CochraneTel, customers who switch to e-billing the opportunity to contribute to PomeGran's commitment to plant 50,000 trees through the PomeGran Legacy Forest.

PomeGran has already planted 30,708 trees toward its 50,000-tree commitment. Through NIVO Grows, five trees will be planted or dedicated in honour of each qualifying new NIVO Fibre activation, helping move the Legacy Forest closer to its 50,000-tree goal.

The initiative connects reliable fibre connectivity, something essential in our customers' everyday lives, with a broader commitment to environmental action. It gives NIVO customers a tangible way to be part of the sustainability work already underway across the PomeGran family.

The trees are supported through Evertreen, PomeGran's tree-planting partner. Through NIVO Grows, we will share progress along the Road to 50,000, including milestones, project stories and updates on where the Legacy Forest is growing.

At launch, 30,708 trees have been planted, with 19,292 remaining to reach PomeGran's 50,000-tree commitment.

For NIVO customers, the idea is simple: a connection can do more than connect a home. It can help grow something lasting.

About Cochrane Telecom Services Inc.
Founded in 1921, CochraneTel began by providing electricity, water, sewer and telephone services to the community of Cochrane. In 2003, Cochrane Telecom Services (CTS) was established as a separate entity focused on delivering reliable telecommunications services to the region. CochraneTel first began offering internet services in 1994, and in 2015 modernized its network by installing more than 200 km of fibre. This major investment expanded economic opportunities throughout the District of Cochrane, including its partnership with Taykwa Tagamou Nation.

For over a century, CochraneTel has remained dedicated to connecting the people of Cochrane – both rural and urban – with dependable, innovative telecommunications solutions. The company continues to work closely with valued community partners, strengthening relationships that support shared growth, inclusion, and long-term regional development. Now as part of the PomeGran group of companies, CochraneTel looks forward to continuing this legacy of service, partnership, and innovation for the next 100 years.
