Cochrane, ON – (December 2, 2025) – CochraneTel is proud to announce its collaboration with the Town of Cochrane to bring new, vibrant holiday lighting to the downtown core. During the early mornings, CochraneTel technicians braved brisk winds to begin installing the fresh seasonal décor along Sixth Avenue, the main street of Cochrane.

The new lighting, jointly purchased by CochraneTel and the Town of Cochrane, reflects a shared commitment to enhancing community spaces and celebrating the spirit of the season. Designed to be more broadly seasonal rather than strictly Christmas-themed, the display creates an inviting atmosphere for residents and visitors throughout the winter months.

“This project is a wonderful example of what can happen when our community partners come together,” said Mayor Peter Politis. “The refreshed lighting in our downtown core will help create a warm, welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike, and we’re grateful to CochraneTel for their continued dedication to our town,” he concluded.
