Email account set-up
You can use any email software on any platform to retrieve your emails. (PC, Laptop, tablet or smart phone).
IMAP vs POP
IMAP and POP are two different way to fetch your emails. We supports both protocols but recommends using IMAP.
IMAP (Internet Messaged Access Protocol):
Leaves emails on the server. If you are using multiple device to check your emails, IMAP is the choice for you. It allows you to use different computers/devices to check your emails. Your emails will always be synchronized and will instantly appear in your webmail inbox no matter which device you use.
POP (Post Office Protocol):
Downloads emails from a server for permanent local storage on a computer or other device.
To be able to send emails, you must configure the SMTP. For security reasons, we recommend that you use the SMTPA server address. Also, with SMTPA you can receive your email from outside the CTS network.
If you are having difficulty setting up your email account, you can contact our main office at 705-272-4232.
